A team of artists gathered to present video works to be screened on Coit Tower on Thanksgiving Evening and Day. Condensed versions of the work were also screened at Artist’s Television Access. I collaborated with Director of Ohlone Profiles — a non profit that produces, radio, television, multimedia and art to celebrate San Francisco’s first people, the Ohlone and raise the profile of their culture — to Produce the film, Welcome to Ohlone Territory. I was also the videographer/editor. (2009)

This short film is a reflection on excess in our society, where the subject, the heart and soul, is superseded by the object, which, in this scenario is, superbrand Australian toilet paper — Sorbent. w_b_m_ is a call for restoration of balance and for a re-examination of our current systems of meaning.
It was exhibited at Tap Gallery in Australia as part of “Tap Group Show” and “Multimedium.
It screened at NewCastle’s prestigious Playhouse Theatrette as part of Electrofringe – Electroprojections at Australia’s largest arts festival This Is Not Art, The Surry Hills Film Festival, Chicago’s Artropolis and The Directors Lounge at the Berlin Festival. (2006 – 2009)

Plots
Exhibition of a 30 minute documentary dubbed “a visual rollercoaster through the dizzying world of pop-culture,” and “investigative journalism on party drugs,” by The Sydney Morning Herald’s arts writer Tracey Clement, what brand are you? was a dual screen projection surrounded by interactive remixed video versions to investigate the way our notions of happiness are subverted by the world of marketing and advertising. This film with a focus on happiness was way ahead of it’s time! (2005)
